The luxurious Maharajas Express has 14 well-appointed guest carriages that are well-equipped with elegant cabins that are divided into four categories – Deluxe Cabin, Junior Suite, Suite, and Presidential Suite. These cabins are in increasing order of services and amenities. A total of 88 guests can go on a single journey on Maharajas Train.
14 Gems of Express
The 14 carriages are named after various precious stones that are Moti, Hakik, Panna, Firoza, Pitoniya, Manik, Heera, Neelam, Gomed, Katela, Moonga, Beruz, Pukhraj and Navratna (for 9 planetary gems that bring good energies to the wearer).
Hakik, Firoza, Katela, Beruz, and Pitoniya are names of
Deluxe
Carriages that have a total

- Heera and Neelam are names of Suites that have 4

Deluxe Cabin
The Maharajas’ Express is a luxurious train that has 20 Deluxe Cabins, out of which 12 are twin-bedded and 8 double-bedded. 40-passenger capacity is there in Deluxe Cabin. The entire cabin space of the Deluxe cabin is 112 sq, ft, and these spacious cabins come as twin-sharing or double-bedded cabins. Each can accommodate 2 passengers in each cabin.

The Junior Suite of this elegant train is equipped with facilities such as LCD TV, direct-dial phones, and internet. These more spacious cabins offer sumptuous accommodation to all the guests in the beautifully designed interiors. Comfortable beds, attached bathrooms, and pastel colors inside the cabins radiate an artistic finesse that has gone into the design of these suites. The Junior Suites are 20 and they have a maximum capacity of 36 passengers.

The Maharajas’ Express has four tastefully appointed suites that can accommodate a capacity of 8 passengers. These suites are a work of art in themselves with Sylvan furnishings, modern amenities, and tasteful elegant adornment which are reminiscent of the splendor of the bygone princely splendor. Passengers will live like royalty in the quaint décor of these lavish suites that are well-equipped with contemporary amenities.
