HIGHLIGHTS
This package is for 6 nights and 7 days and will take you from the city of Delhi to Mumbai, via the beauty of Agra and Jaipur, Ranthambore, Bikaner, Jodhpur, and Udaipur. You can enjoy the luxurious amenities of the train throughout the journey and you will go on guided tours to different forts and palaces. The journey will start from Delhi, the train goes towards the Mughal City-Agra, home of the Taj, proceeding to the wildlife safari of Ranthambore, continuing to ‘Pink City’ Jaipur, ‘Camel City’ Bikaner, ‘Blue City’ Jodhpur, the beautiful city of Udaipur and finally it will end its journey at India’s busiest city, Mumbai.

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Sunday –
Delhi & Agra Tour
You have to come to Safdarjung Railway Station at 07:00 am which is in Delhi to begin your luxurious journey. You will be welcomed and then you have to complete the check-in process. At 08:15 you can enjoy your first meal inside the Maharajas’ Express while the train moves towards Agra, the “City of Mughals.” Later around noon, a tour briefing will take place on board so that you can familiarize yourself with the itinerary for the coming days. At 13:00, enjoy a delicious lunch on board at Maharajas’ Express. After an hour, the train will reach the City of Taj - Agra. After arriving, visit the iconic Taj Mahal, a symbol of love and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This masterpiece is made entirely of white marble, featuring beautiful inlay work and marble screens. Click some nice pictures and then you’ll be escorted back to the royal chariot at 18:30. Enjoy a delicious dinner around 19:30 and then relax in your comfortable cabins of Maharajas’ Express.

Day 2: Monday – Agra Fort & Ranthambore Safari
Continue your Agra execution with an early morning 06:30 visit to the majestic Agra Fort, a reminder of the city’s Mughal legacy. After gaining knowledge about its history, come back to the Maharajas’ Express at 08:30 and relax for some time. Enjoy a delicious breakfast on board while the train proceeds to Ranthambore (Sawai Madhopur). You can have lunch inside the fine dining areas of Maharajas’ Express around 13:00 while enjoying the surrounding views. Get ready to go on a thrilling safari ride inside Ranthambore National Park as the train will reach Sawai Madhopur at 14:30. You will go on thrilling jeeps inside Ranthambore National Park that will let you see animals like Bengal Tigers, elusive leopards, spotted deer, sambar deer, chital, chinkara, nilgai, sloth bear, wild boar, hyena and jackal. Remember, spotting animals is a proper stroke of luck on the open jeep safaris. As the sun sets at 17:30, return to the comforts of Maharajas’ Express and relax for some time. The train will start moving towards Jaipur at 18:00 and you can enjoy a delicious dinner on board.

Day 3: Tuesday – Beauty of Jaipur
The train will arrive at Jaipur in early morning at 04:00 am. You can enjoy a relaxed breakfast on board the Maharajas Express at 07:00 am. At 8: 30 get ready to visit the historical and beautiful Amber Fort. This beautiful fort is an interesting fusion of Hindu and Mughal architecture that was built back in 1592 by Raja Man Singh I and completed by Mirja Raja Singh. This scenic fort is primarily constructed from white marble and red sandstones. The exterior of the fort emanates rugged magnificence, and the interior sanctum reveals a paradise of art and architecture. A short jeep ride will take you to the fort, where you will explore the royal apartments. You can see a stunning view of the gorge. Get a chance to step back into the Mughal era as you explore the Chamber of Mirrors (Sheesh Mahal) and the Hall of Victory. Return to the express and enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by the top chefs. Relax in between and at 17:45 proceed to the famous Hotel Rambagh Palace to have a mouth-watering dinner. This palace has stood tall for 189 years and it was once the home of the Maharaja of Jaipur. Now, it is a hotel and you can experience royal dining experience here. Around 21:00, return to the comforts of Maharajas’ Express and overnight stay while the express moves towards the next destination - Bikaner.

Day 4: Wednesday – Exploring the Bikaner
The Maharaja's Express will arrive at Bikaner at 06:45 am. Enjoy a scenic journey through the large windows with a flavourful breakfast on board. Relax for some time in your cabins while enjoying the view or participate in optional activities. At 13:00, you can enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by the top chefs. After that, disembark and move towards the Junagarh Fort. This is an impressive fortress constructed by Raja Rai Singh in 1593 AD. inside the fort, you can visit Diwan-i-khas, Hawa Mahal, Phool Mahal (Flower Palace), Anup Mahal, and Badal Mahal. Around 17:30, experience royal pageantry as you are escorted on a Sundowner excursion to the Sand Dunes, where a convoy of camel carts adorned with colorful fabrics awaits, accompanied by musicians. Enjoy traditional barbeque dishes with cocktails while enjoying folk arts like Kalbeliyas and Langaas. After a nice day of exploration and fun, come back to the comforts of the Maharajas' Express by 20:15 and take a rest while the train leaves for Jodhpur.

Day 5: Thursday – Blue City of Jodhpur
Begin your day with a fresh breakfast on board around 08:00 am in the heart of the Marwar region, Jodhpur, known as the ‘Blue City’. Spend the morning at your leisure, or you can choose to participate in exciting optional activities. Have lunch on board and after that around 14:30 visit the famous Mehrangarh Fort. This fort is perched atop a 400-foot-high hill and is among India’s largest forts. Then, visit the vibrant Old Clock Tower Market by a tuk-tuk ride and then explore the area on foot. Around 17:30 enjoy a delicious and exclusive cocktail dinner at Khaas Bagh which is a heritage hotel. Enjoy a pleasant ambiance around you while having your delicious dinner. Come back to Maharajas’ Express by 20:30 and rest for the night while this luxurious express moves towards Udaipur.

Day 6: Friday – Exploration at Udaipur
Around 08:00 in the morning have a fulfilling breakfast inside the fine dining area of Maharajas’ Express enroot to Udaipur- the City of Lakes. The train will reach Udaipur around 09:45. Disembark and get ready to enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola. Udaipur is a scenic place also known as the “Venice of the East” due to its beautiful lakes. Enjoy some time inside the lake and after that, you will visit City Palace. This one is the largest palace in Rajasthan. It is situated amidst Lake Pichola and is adorned with scalloped arches, ornate domes, and fretted balconies. Explore spots like Mor Chowk, Moti Mahal, Chini Mahal, and Zenana Mahal inside the Palace. After that, discover the Crystal Gallery of this beautiful city. After exploration, around 13:30, have a delicious lunch at Satkar Hall of Hotel Fateh Prakash Palace which is a famous heritage hotel. Return to the comforts of Maharajas’ Express and take some rest inside your cabins and suites. Around 19:00 Enjoy an Indian Evening on board followed by a delightful dinner as the train moves toward Mumbai.

Day 7: Saturday – A visit to the city that never sleeps, Mumbai.
As your Royal tour draws to an end, enjoy the countryside views while having breakfast on board around 08:00 am. Relax for some time and bid farewell to your fellow passengers as your journey comes to an end. At around 4:35 PM, we’ll arrive at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus railway station in Mumbai. Say goodbye and cherish the memories created during your ‘The Indian Splendour’ adventure.
