To have delicious meals throughout the journey, the Maharajas’ Express has two fine dining cars exclusively for this purpose. There are two themed restaurants inside the Maharajas’ Express where people can eat delicious food and see the amazing views of the environment.
One of the restaurants of Royal Maharajas’ Express is known as Mayur Mahal which means a peacock palace. Just like its name, the restaurant has a golden peacock masterpiece that welcomes the guests inside this fine restaurant. Another restaurant of the Royal Maharajas’ Express is known as the Rang Mahal which means Palace of Colors. This one is named like this because it has fresco painting on the ceiling and other colorful decorations which adds to the beauty of this fine dining area.
Both the restaurants can accommodate 42 people per time and in total 88 people can eat at the same time inside this luxurious train. People never run out of space while dining inside this elegant train. Both restaurants have similar seating arrangements, the chairs are arranged in twos or fours on the sides of the panoramic window. It has an ample amount of empty space for waiters to move around and the windows allow tourists to enjoy good scenery while eating.
The meals offered are the same in both restaurants and they have the exact same menu so that people can sit wherever they want without thinking about the menu differences. The chefs of this train are highly skilled and they prepare delicious, mouth-watering cuisines for the guests traveling on this train. International, continental, as well as Indian Cuisines are offered inside this Royal Express. People can even choose their favorite wine while enjoying the food for a nice and fulfilling experience.
The restaurants are located at two opposite ends of the train, but it doesn't prevent guests from choosing the one that they want. Our precious guests can dine in the Mayur Mahal for one day and the Rang Mahal for another. All on-board meals take place in these two restaurants and whenever the train stops, at every destination, new and fresh ingredients are stocked into the train to provide the specialty of the land. Enjoy nice meals throughout your journey in the fine dining-themed restaurants of Maharajas’ Express.
