HIGHLIGHTS
This one is a short journey of 3 nights and 4 days. It offers a lavish itinerary of travelling from Delhi to Agra, via the renowned Golden Triangle which will include Jaipur, Agra, and Sawai Madhopur. You will get a chance to enjoy the beauty of Agra with the Taj Mahal, a safari in Ranthambore, and the scenic views of Jaipur with Amber Fort. Our precious guests can experience the comfort of Royal Maharajas along with the sightseeing of the Taj Mahal, forts, palaces, and the incredible architecture of India.

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Sunday –
Delhi To Agra
At 07:00 am the guests need to assemble at the Delhi Safdurjung Railway Station. Complete the check-in formalities and then you can enjoy a delicious breakfast around 08:15 inside the luxurious Maharajas’ Express. Around noon the tour briefing will take place on the train. After that, you can enjoy lunch inside the fine dining carts of the express. The train will reach the ‘City of Mughal Splendour’ at 14:00. Disembark from the train to move towards one of the Seven Wonders - the Taj Mahal. This is a famous UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his favorite queen Mumtaz Mahal. White marble is used in the construction of this scenic site and one can see beautiful inlay work and marble screens. Around 18:30, return to the comforts of Maharajas’ Express and you can relax on-board or may choose optional activities. Then enjoy a delicious dinner and rest for a luxurious night inside this elegant express.

Day 2: Monday – Agra to Ranthambore
On the second morning of your trip, you have to wake up early morning around 06:30 to move towards the Agra Fort for sightseeing. Later, return to the comforts of Maharajas’ Express and relax. At 08:45 am, breakfast will be served on board and Maharajas’ Express will move forward to Ranthambore. You can spend your time as you like; enjoy the time at the bar and lounge, and see some nice views of the surrounding landscapes. Our precious guests can enjoy a delicious lunch in the fine dining area of Express at 13:00. Then, arrive in Ranthabire at 14:30 and proceed for a game drive in the Ranthambore National Park. This park is well known among people because of its open sightings of tigers, sambar, chital, nilgai, chinkara, wild boar, sloth bear, hyena, jackal, and leopard. However, remember one thing, the spotting of animals is purely on luck. Then, after a game drive come back to the comforts of Maharajas’ Express and relax in your comfortable accommodation. The Maharajas’ Express will move to Jaipur around 18:00 and then you can enjoy your delicious dinner before resting for the night in your comfortable cabins.

Day 3: Tuesday – A Visit to Jaipur
The Maharajas’ Express will arrive at Jaipur Railway Station at 04:00 in the morning. Then, enjoy a delicious breakfast inside the fine dining carts of the express. Around 08:30, move forward to visit the famous Amber Fort of this Pink City. It’s a historical and beautiful sight which shows an interesting fusion of Hindu and Mughal architecture. This scenic fort was built back in 1592 by Raja Man Singh I and completed by Mirja Raja Singh. A stunning contrast of red sandstone and white marble was used in the construction. After sightseeing, return to your express to enjoy a delicious lunch. After that, you can relax in your cabins or can enjoy optional activities. Around 17:45, get ready to have a delicious dinner at Hotel Rambagh Palace. This is a famous palace that was the residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur from 1925 to 1957 and then converted into a hotel. Afterwards, by 21:00 return back to the Maharajas’ Express as the train will start moving towards Delhi.

Day 4: Wednesday – Reach at Delhi in Maharaja’s Express
Have a delicious breakfast inside Maharajas’ Express before saying goodbye. The train will arrive at Delhi Safdarjung Station around 10:00 am. Bid farewell to your fellow passengers and the train as your memorable journey comes to an end.

- Butler service, complimentary tea, coffee, and mineral water are available on board the Maharajas’ Express.
- Guided off-train tours as mentioned in the itinerary.
- The entrance fees, transportation, and services of guides for forts, palaces, and other sighting areas as mentioned in the itinerary.
- The charges of Porter at the station.

- Taxes, insurance, gratuities, telephone calls, laundry charges.
- Alcoholic beverages that are not of house brands.
- Fees of video, film, and professional still camera.
- Air tickets for international or domestic airways.
- Any personal expenses like buying something etc.
