Have a mouth-watering breakfast on board around 08:00 am. After that, deboard to visit the famous City Palace galleries with the Arms Museum, Textile Museum, and Arts Museum. There, you can see the famous Sterling Silver Vessels entered in the Guinness Book of World Records. Return back to the train to enjoy a delicious lunch at 13:00. Post lunch relax in your comfortable elegant cabins or you can also spend your time in the lounge and bar. In the evening, get ready to go for a luxurious dinner at Hotel Rambagh Palace of Jaipur at 18:00. This palace was once a residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur from 1925 to 1957 and then it was converted into a luxury hotel. It has hand-carved marble latticework and elaborate gardens which add to the visit. Return to the Maharajas’ Express at 22:00 and the train will move towards Sawai Madhopur.

At 06:30 am the train will arrive at Sawai Madhopur. Get ready to go on a thrilling jeep safari inside Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. This park is famous for the sightings of wild animals such as tigers, sambar, chital, nilgai, chinkara, wild boar, sloth bear, hyena, jackal, and leopard. After an adventurous morning ride inside this wild park, come back to the express for a nice breakfast around 09:45. At 10:15 am the train will start moving to the fabled deserted Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri. Enjoy the sights of the changing landscape while having lunch on board. The luxurious Maharajas’ Express will reach around 14:45 at the famous Fatehpur Sikri. Disembark from the train and proceed towards amazing sighting areas. Explore the gateways, halls of private and public audiences, and beautifully sculptured palaces with unique water bodies. Enjoy a perfect blend of Hindu and Muslim architectural styles. This place is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was built by the great Mughal Emperor Akbar. Around 17:45 return to your comfortable and luxurious Maharajas’ Express and then the train will proceed towards Agra. You can have a delicious dinner made by the top chefs on the train at 19:30. The train will arrive in Agra at 20:00 and you can relax in your comfortable cabins for the night.

Early morning at 06:30 am, be ready to proceed towards the Taj Mahal. This is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This famous place was built by Shah Jahan as a mausoleum for his favorite and beloved queen Mumtaz. White marble is used to construct this mausoleum and it is an architectural masterpiece. After clicking some nice photographs, enjoy breakfast around 09:00 am from atop the Taj Khema. It’s a famous tabletop lawn, gazing at the Taj Mahal. Return to your comfortable cabin or suite of Maharajas’ Express at 11:00 am. You can have lunch at 13:00 and then you can spend your free time as you want to. Have a friendly conversation with fellow passengers in the lounge room or relax in your comfortable cabins. The train will leave for Orchha at night and you can enjoy your dinner and then relax for the day inside the luxurious Maharajas’ Express.

At 06:40 in the morning, the train will reach Orchha and get ready to visit the quaint village of Orchha known for its rustic lifestyle. You will go on a village tour in TukTuks, it will be a fun ride. Visit the Orchha fort and take some nice pictures before returning to Maharajas’ Express. Have your breakfast on board at 09:45 as the Maharajas’ Express will move forward the historical Khajuraho. Enjoy a flavourful lunch on board as the train continues its journey. The train will arrive in Khajuraho at 15:00. On arrival proceed on a tour of the magnificent temples of Khajuraho which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is a historical place that is famous for its architecture and exquisite sculptures. Explore the historical Western Group of Temples which constitutes some of the finest examples of Chandela art at its peak. Then return to the comfort of Maharajas’ Express at 18:30. After some time you can enjoy an ‘Indian Evening’ followed by dinner and the train proceeds to Varanasi at 22:00.

Enjoy the breakfast on board at 08:00 while watching the rich agricultural fields, arriving in the holy city of Varanasi. Get ready to move towards the Taj Ganges Hotel for lunch as the train will arrive at Varanasi at 11:35 am. Varanasi is one of the oldest living cities in the world and people also know it as Kashi or Banaras. This place has a spiritual legacy of over 3000 years and many people come here for pilgrimage. After lunch, at 13:30 visit the Sarnath ruins and also the silk weaving center. Explore the Lively bazaars, exquisite and bright silks, festivals, temples, mosques, and palaces here. Then, at 16:30 you can enjoy a fun boat ride on the Ganges and also witness the evening Aarti at the ghats of the holy Ganges. Return to your comfortable cabins of Maharajas’ Express at 20:00 and enjoy a delicious meal on board. The Maharajas’ Express will proceed back to the capital of India - Delhi at 22:00.
